Vipul has over 20 years of experience across strategy & execution, building new businesses & high performance teams, partnership & business development, technology and analytics. He has been an integral part of charting the growth of the financial services platform at the Piramal Group since inception including integration of the real estate private equity and NBFC platforms, value creation from investments in the Shriram Group, entry into retail housing finance, launch of distressed financing, pivoting the retail finance business to affordable & mass affluent housing, and launching the embedded finance business. He has previously led the Chairman’s Office at the Piramal Group.
Prior to joining the Piramal Group, Vipul was a Junior Partner with McKinsey & Company in its Mumbai and Amsterdam offices, where he has worked with leading Financial Institutions across India and Europe. He has a strong track record of impact on an extensive range of topics in financial services. Prior to joining McKinsey & Company, Vipul worked with the M&A transaction services team at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Vipul has a distinctive education track record and academic accomplishments. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Indian School of Business where he was an ISB scholarship winner and was on the Dean's list. Vipul is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
